Arris C4 – Testing – Adding Cards.

Format Flash and separate it into 3 partion: System, Update, and Active.
Boot the Arris C4 by connecting Power Cables from DC Power Converter to Arris C4 Power Supply.
If you have the Flash with 3 directories and correct files on it(System, Update, and Active with CMTS img on it), it will Boot up automatically.
Default user/pass are: root/admin
Show version:
Then add card with commands:
C4(config)# slot 10 type 32DCAM-A name TEST
C4(config)# slot 11 type 32DCAM-A name TEST
C4(config)# slot 12 type 32DCAM-A name TEST
C4(config)# slot 13 type 32DCAM-A name TEST
C4(config)# no slot 10 shutdown
C4(config)# no slot 11 shutdown
C4(config)# no slot 12 shutdown
C4(config)# no slot 13 shutdown
Check card status:
“show version detail” to check all details for each card:
