Power UP the Nokia OLT
To power up the Nokia OLT, please follow these steps:
- Standalone Use: The Sub Rack is primarily designed for standalone use, so it doesn’t require integration into a larger system.
- Power Supply Unit: The Sub Rack comes equipped with a power supply unit that operates on a -48V DC power source. Note that you will still need to provide this power source.
- Location of Power Supply Unit: The power supply unit is positioned at the lower left of the sub-rack for FX-4 and FX-8 models. For the FX-16 model, it is located below the fan unit.
- Safety Cover: The power supply unit is enclosed within a protective plastic safety cover, ensuring the safety of the equipment during operation.
Before powering up the Nokia OLT, ensure that you have the necessary -48V DC power supply connected to the unit. Once the power supply is connected, you can proceed to power up the OLT.
